Hauser & Wirth: Isa Genzken

Beam me up Scottie. Isa Genzken blends anorak chic with alien street cred.

Plaster reproductions of the bust of Nefertiti, assemblages of potted plants and designer furniture, mawkish mannequins in garish colours, all await you at H&W.

Genzken does her best to play around with our preconceptions of installation, collage and sculpture. It’s messy, anarchic and playful. Everything that is needed in an age of uncertainty and love of the new.

Gallery attendant, art ligger, or a Genzken mannequin? You decide.
